- We recommend keeping your sterling silver jewelry stored in a jewelry box when not being worn. This extra TLC will help to prevent oxidation. Avoid exposing your jewelry to any perfumes, soaps, or abrasive agents, like chemical cleaners or heat. Remove jewelry before swimming or showering. A soft polishing cloth should be used in the event of tarnish.
